New head for Women’s

Dale Fisher has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Women’s Hospital.

The appointment follows the re-establishment of an independent Women’s after nine years as a merged entity with the Royal Children’s.

Ms Fisher has been Executive Director of the Women’s since July 2001, and has worked for 25 years in the health industry.

She is a registered nurse and holds a Bachelor of Business and Masters of Business Administration.

Before joining the Women’s, Ms Fisher was General Manager of Dandenong Hospital.

She is Vice President of the Board of the Queen Elizabeth Centre and an Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Executives.
