Prize acknowledges busy schedule

Austin Healths Dr Humsha Naidoo who has won the Bernard
Nicholson Memorial Prize.

Austin Healths Deputy Director of Acute Services is the first
Victorian in 10 years to win the Bernard Nicholson Memorial Prize
while completing a Fellowship for the Royal Australasian College
of Medical Administrators.
Dr Humsha Naidoo received the award for being the most outstanding
candidate in the oral examination component.
Dr Naidoo juggled her busy full-time work at Austin Health and
her family life with her study.
My case study was on introducing a credentialling system
for senior medical staff and defining their scope of clinical practice
at Austin Health, said Dr Naidoo.
The Fellowship involved completing a Masters Degree, a case study
related to medical administration and completing an oral examination.
