Seminar on health benefit of tai
chi
Arthritis Victoria is holding a
Highlights from the first International Conference of Tai Chi for Health evening seminar on Friday, June 29.
Family physician and tai chi
master Paul Lam will give the keynote Past, present and future of Tai Chi for
Health speech.
Dr. Lesley Day—research
scientist with qualifications in public health specialising in injury
prevention—will discuss the Exercise for Independent Living research
project study underway at Monash University’s Accident Research Centre.
Other presenters will include
physiotherapist and master trainer in Tai Chi for Health programs Wilfred Kwok
and occupational therapist, master trainer and coordinator in Tai Chi for
Health programs at Arthritis Victoria Rani Hughes.
