June 2003
Service agreements go online
Funded Agency Channel (FAC) agencies can have online access to
their individual Department of Human Services three-year service
agreement funding details and provide feedback about their new agreements.
FAC will provide details of base funding, performance targets,
data collection requirements and related service standards and guidelines
for each agency at www.dhs.vic.gov.au/fac.
Information will be regularly uploaded from the Departments
Service Agreement Management System (SAMS) to FAC from mid June.
Agencies with FAC access will be able to view information from
their evolving draft agreement in the private My Agency section
of the site.
Sample service agreement documents, key departmental policies and
other relevant information can be accessed through the DHS Information
section of FAC.
Convenient online access to your agency service agreement
information will be especially critical throughout June and July
while agreements are being finalised, said FAC Project Manager
John Hedditch.
Because of the specific nature of individual agency information
available on FAC, registration is necessary for access.
Agencies can nominate any number of staff to have online access
to their new service agreement details with the option of providing
each staff member with financial access or limited non-financial
access.
Agencies can register for access via the website at www.dhs.vic.gov.au/fac
by selecting the Sign Up button on the front page and
downloading, completing and returning the registration form. Alternatively,
agencies can contact the Funded Agency Channel Helpline on 9616
1478 or email fac@dhs.vic.gov.au.
