Minister for Aged Care and Aboriginal Affairs Gavin Jennings, Melbourne City Councillor Kimberley Kitching and poet, author and volunteer broadcaster Lisa Bellear were ‘talking guests’ at the first night of the Mary G Show during Reconciliation Week.

They joined the Black Queen of the Kimberley, comedienne Mary G on stage at the Playbox Theatre during a show that combined wit and wisdom.

The Department of Human Services Community Care Division, the Department of Justice and the City of Melbourne brought the popular television and radio personality Mary G—and her creator Mark Bin Bakar—from Broome for a season to celebrate Reconciliation Week.
