Pam Power wins Penington award

Long Gully, Bendigo, tenant Pam Power was a special guest at Queen’s Hall, Parliament House, to receive her Frances Penington Award.

Minister for Housing Candy Broad presented the award as part of the launch of Housing Week.

Ms Power was chosen from a field of 38 nominees who all made a valuable contribution to their communities.

During the five years she has been actively involved in the Long Gully community, Ms Power has been responsible for the success of a number of key community initiatives and groups.
