Conference marks jubilee

The Australian Cerebral Palsy Association’s 2002 national conference in Sydney in September will mark its Golden Jubilee and seek to shape the future for people with disabilities and their carers.

Themes for the Shaping the Future conference, to be held between September 18 and 20, will be citizenship and collaboration, embracing the evidence and future challenges.

International keynote speakers will include guests from Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

The presentations will address the participation of children with disabilities in everyday life, dating with a disability, technology and supported and self employment.
